Subject: R.SURF.CONTOUR and real numbers

I have used R.SURF.CONTOUR to produce a DEM.
Now I need to export the file with R.OUT.ASCII,
but I'm unable to obtain an ascii file with real
data type.
Is it possible to produce a DEM with real data type
(with 2 decimal numbers) by using R.SURF.CONTOUR,
or must I transform the units of the input file
from meters to centimeters?

Thanks.

Alessandro,

Floating point capabilities with GRASS are being worked
on by the Army Corps of Engineers, but are not currently
available. You will need to transform the units from
meters to centimeters if you wish to keep that level
of accuracy.

Good Luck!
