Michael,

Thanks for the info. I should have taken advantage of the expertise of
others on the list. I have spent a lot of time trying to read the database.
So, your info is very much appreciated.

I have download the GRASS SDTS files and followed the instructions in the
README file. Unfortunately, when I tried to compile the new source, it
exited with the following error.

In file included from f123inc/stc123.h:385,
                 from a_toe.c:48:
f123inc/fips_bsd.h:7: conflicting types for `div_t'
/usr/include/stdlib.h:51: previous declaration of `div_t'
f123inc/fips_bsd.h:9: conflicting types for `ldiv_t'
/usr/include/stdlib.h:58: previous declaration of `ldiv_t'
f123inc/fips_bsd.h:15: conflicting types for `ldiv'
/usr/include/stdlib.h:325: previous declaration of `ldiv'
make[1]: *** [OBJ.linux/a_toe.o] Error 1
make: *** [all] Error 2

Having no programming experience, this is all Greek to me. I am running
Linux kernel 2.0.18 and C library version 5.3.12. I would appreciate any
help getting SDTS files imported. I have compiled the GRASS4.1.5 without a
problem. So, I think the problem is with the SDTS package. But, I could be
wrong.

Thanks,

Henry Shin

There are some GRASS modules on moon.cecer.mil.army/pub/grass/outgoing
for importing SDTS files. Download the files that start with sdts.

Good luck.
