Hy everybody!
I just subscribed to GRASS-list and am totally new to Linux and GRASS, but
have managed to install
both on my PC... (rather easily thanks the nice and clear
installation instructions....)
I downloaded (with a lot of patience...) the grass421_bin16.tar.gz
file and followed the instructions. I could start GRASS4.2 under
my username, but when I try TCLTKGRASS, i got the following error:

wish can't resolve symbol '__xstat'
/usr/local/bin/tcltkgrass: GISDBASE: parameter null or not set

I am really sorry to bother you with this maybe trivial problem, but
i'm really stuck and don't know what to do. So if somebody could give
me a little help, i'd be very gratefull!
