I am having a problem with the digit commands with Version 4.0 on Interactive
UNIX (386 PC). When the digit commands encounter a digit file containing
a line with over 100 points or several lines with over 30 points it gives an
FP EXCEPTION and exits. The problem appears to be occuring in
mapdev/diglib/portable.c around line 282. This is the code for converting
portable to double numbers.
If the long line semgents are broken into smaller segments the digit commands
works fine. This, however, is not the way to fix the problem.
Does anyone have an idea what may be causing the problem?
