I am doing a development work on v.digit at the moment. Any one has idea what the the programs ATTCURESES.C and curses.C codes supossed to do. I cannot get them to compile.

I also like to know if anyone has developed an application that will translate an Intergraph IGDS file to GRASS and GRASS to IGDS that works on the SUN.

I will assume that my previous response to this was lost also.

First, these questions are more appropriate for the grassp-list mail list.

curses.C is loaded by the file src/mapdev/digitizers/*/dig_curses.c
The reason why does not necessarily make any sense, but none the less
that is the way things currently are. The ATTCURSES.C file is a replacement
for curses.C which sometimes works better on strict ATT SYS V versions of
UNIX. It is generally not needed.

If you are interested in contributing your changes to v.digit back to the
GRASS community, I would recommend coordinating efforts with the Office of
GRASS Integration or with myself, as we are currently making significant
changes to v.digit and are planing more in the future.
