Troubles in compiling Grass5.0b6

Hi to all
I've tried to compile Grass5.0beta6 on a SuSe6.3 machine (AMD K6-2), however
I was able to run ./configure, but make install stops with an error for the
XDRIVER24:

includes.h:7: X11/Xos.h: No such file or directory
includes.h:9: X11/Xlib.h: No such file or directory
includes.h:10: X11/Xutil.h: No such file or directory
make[2]: *** [OBJ.i586-linux-elf/SWITCHER.o] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory
'/opt/grass5sources/grass5.0beta/src/display/devices/XDRIVER/XDRIVER24'

Did anybody had the same thing once? Or any ideas how to solve this problem?
Later I'll try using the new makefile.in Markus has posted...

Did you install the X11 development packages?
You need the X11 libraries somewhere.

Did anybody had the same thing once? Or any ideas how to solve this problem?

If you just need a medium stable GRASS version you could find
one on the FreeGIS-CD:
