A while back on comp.infosystems.gis someone remarked that
there may be a grass mirror in Germany - does anyone have
any info about this? IMO, it would be a good idea if we
could have a few "official" mirror sites (perhaps one in
Germany, one in Australia, and another in the US).
Antonio - the answer is to get the updated source code.
The official place is moon.cecer.army.mil, but I suspect
that you can find a closer spot.

I think that the MOON *is* the official source machine and sometimes the MOON
is much more accessible than any other mirror machine here in Europe...
Btw, the Euro-Grass-HQ located in the NL should make the right decision for
Euro distribution site...
The only one problem on the MOON is the bug in his FTP server (e.g. dir/ls -l
do not work as usual...).
