Hi,
I want to compute the areas for ALL polygons in a vector map (like r.stats).
Has anyone modified v.area to do that? Or written a new program/script?

Katarina (and others),
I have the humble beginnings of a program which would give
each area a unique category and use either area or centrode
coordinates as the label. Failing any other solution, I
may be persuaded to hurry along with this (it shouldn't
be very difficult).
