My problems with v.digit arose because v.support was not working
correctly. I was originally using the latest source code and compiling it.
When I went back to the 4.1.3 binaries on moon and grabbed the
relevant files (v.support, v.build) things worked as they were supposed
to. I suspect I don't have all my parameters correct in the compile setup,
but for now everything seems to be fine. Thanks to all for your advice.
