I think so. It happens after I answer 'y' to the question "Do you want to
continue". A bounding box is drawn in the monitor window, a message
is put in the grass window telling me to wait, and nothing else happens
until I delete the grass window.

this is a problem with the terminfo library. I cannot help You
immediately, as I have not the sources and binaries on this
account. I'll be able to send You the patch information on Friday.
The problem belongs not to any external hardware.
