Hello GRASSusers,
I need to import an ARC/INFO file into GRASS. I tried to use v.in.arc, but I
get a warning message saying " File could NOT be opened for reading".
I don't know what is wrong.
The file is quite big (5492963 bytes), could this be the problem, or am I
missing something?
We just had the same problem. The solution was to put the ARC/INFO file in
a directory called "arc" at the mapset level. Evidently the file has to be
in a directory along side /cell, /cellhd, etc. for v.in.arc to find it.
