Thanks for the clues on v.support! Most of it I had figured out already,
but the compression of the attribute file was new to me; still, it takes
a lot of work doing all this in v.digit, so I hoped there was some way to
do it less primitively. I think it might help a lot already if you would
be able to display ALL your label-points in v.digit. Luckily I only use
v.digit for editing, not for serious digitizing, for that we have RootsPro.
Or is there anyone around here who really LIKES working with v.digit???
