Problem 1:
v.support seems not to work well with assignment of category
values to areas with some shapes like the one below:

* *
* *
*-------- *
* *
*****************
the line inside areas like ----------- seems to cause the problem
is there any program deleting such lines?
Problem 2
is there any program for merging adjacent areas with the same
attributes values like two below:
***************
* *
* att=12 *
* *
**************
* *
* att=12 *
* *
***********
