Hi,

just answering 3 of the list's latest questions:

1) Jane Rossing - the headers of p.map don't seem to be a problem if you
take the ppm-driver. I've been working with ppm for over two years now
and NEVER had a header (or for that matter, this horrible little legend
you get under your map when using a direct printer-driver). So, just
use ppm and then convert it to a format your printer can read.
2) Margo Herdendorff - for site-analysis I mainly use buffering techniques
around topographical features, not around the sites themselves. You can
then use s.menu to get your data out. If you want to discuss this subject
with me, mail to me directly.
3) Allan Axon - it may seem a bit far-fetched, but I actually used Khoros
(public domain image processing) to rotate raster maps. So maybe you
should try to get hold of it; it's a good piece of software although
on a Sun it has some trouble with color-flashing.

That's it. Bye!

Philip Verhagen
