Skelly you knucklehead! Whaddaya think I'm tryin ta do? 
If I can make this work and then use v.to.rast, these people at Indiana
will abandon their useless vector GIS forever!
And I'll be FREE HA HA HA HA HA!!!
And this would happen a lot faster if one of either of v.in.dxf, v.in.arc,
ATLAS GIS or their data didn't have something wrong with it. Grrrr.
