Vector Map Question

Dear GRASS users!

Does anybody knows how to solve such problems in GRASS:

  1. How to display vector lines with complex line style such as
    steeps, rocks, fences etc., differentiated not only with width
    and dash length?

  2. How to display with p.map.new or p.map vector layers with areas
    (as with d.area) ?
