I am trying to overlay raster images (such as roads on geology) using
the xgdisplay utility. I have not found how this can be done. Can
anyone provide any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

When you have the geoframe selected that has the geology map, click on
the maps menu item, select vector and then select roads. The roads vector
map will then be drawn on the raster map.
