a mention in GeoWorld

OSGeo gets a mention in the May issue of GeoWorld... Sam Bacharach (an
OGC exec) has a back-page column on the difference between "open
standards" and "open source", and says:

"There are many open-source geospatial software packages, and
the newly formed Open Source Geospatial Foundation (www.osgeo.org)
aims to formalize some of the efforts."

(Thanks, Sam.)

At some point, we should probably shop ourselves around to the various
hard-copy magazine editors and see if we can get ourselves a nice
article. I'll add that to the To-Do list.
