In 2025 we were able to restore CITE Certification for GeoServer 2.27. This certification is an annual expense which expires next week on January 9th.
We are in position to certify GeoServer for 2026 and are seeking financial support of approximately $1000 USD for this activity. For more information please see this blog post which I would ask you to share with your employer.
The January 9th deadline is also mentioned on home page and sponsorship page.
We have had two organizations sponsor and are in position to renew on January 9th!
Gaia3D, GeoCat sponsorship funding will be used for certifications where we need to pay $150 USD each.
OSGeo and AfriGIS in-kind: Setup “reference implementation” certifications where OSGeo has provided hosting and Peter has set up services which the public can access as an example of how each standard is intended to behave.
GeoSolutions and Camptocamp in-kind: Getting the tests passing and setup as a workflow to catch regression.
