I have added Service Provider Author permission for Paul.
Paul the service provider page was intended for organizations that can help
folks make use of foss4g technology. As so much of our community is
focused on individuals this is one of the few place we offer promotion.
It is totally fine for Dorset Council to be listed here in order to be
recognized as a core contributor for a project.
The other option for Dorset Council is to be added as a “friend or partner”:
- Friend - we like them and they are active in our community
- Partner - we like them and have some kind of agreement to work
together (memorandum of understanding but it could also be like a code
sprint or a common technology we collaborate on)
Have a look at Partners Archive - OSGeo and you can see all scales
of organizations represented from Open Street Map to a university
technology park.
