Drupal Portal Transition - Wiki Page

Folks,

I've put up a wiki page with some thoughts on a drupal transition.

   http://wiki.osgeo.org/index.php/Drupal_Portal

As I see it, SAC will be responsible for maintaining the Drupal software, and
WebCom will be responsible for the content of the site, so I'm cc:ing both
groups.

We are playing with Drupal now for the Strong Angel III demonstration... Some warnings ...

Drupal has lots of dependancies on OLD stuff... Wont work on PHP5 ... has scaleability issues ... and is a huge load on the machines.

I am a zope zeo plone squid man myself :wink:
