Excel files in the "table" preview of the datahub

Hi everyone,

Are there any specific requirements for displaying Excel files in the “table” preview of the datahub? For example, are there limits on the number of columns or file size? I’m experiencing some strange behavior with this dataset: Datahub (select “Liste des conseillers régionaux Hauts-de-France au 23 novembre 2023 (excel)”. The preview doesn’t match the download file.

Hello Vincent,

I just took a quick look, and I saw that only the columns that have a value in the first line are kept for this example.

Do you have other “buggy” excel examples ?

You’ve put your finger on the problem: I put a “-” character in the empty cells of the first row, and the preview of the excel file is now OK! Thanks a lot !
