ftp Landsat TM imagery that are in ERDAS, import them in GRASS

Fellows:
  Would anyome indicate to me how to ftp Landsat TM imagery (all bands) that are in ERDAS format. Also, What are the steps to follow in order to import landsat TM imagery from ERDAS to GRASS.
