Subject: Receiving unsolicited email updates from Discourse and no options
to unsubscribe
HI,

I've started to receive email notifications from the QGIS/QGIS-it-user
Discourse channel (discourse.osgeo.org).
I've never requested to subscribe and, apparently, I don't have an account
on Osgeo Discourse with the email where I'm receiving the notifications
(which is the one I'm writing from now).
Problems:

1 - I cannot unsubscribe from the emails. This is against the usual user
policies, where an option to unsubscribe should be available inside the
received emails (generally at the bottom).
2 - I cannot manage my subscription since I don't have an active user on
discourse.osgeo.org connected to my email (giohappy@gmail.com)
3 - I can't find any email contact or form to submit a support request.

Could you kindly let me know how I can unsubscribe without having to
blacklist discourse?
I also invite you to take action to make Discourse compliant with user
policies.

Thanks,
Giovanni

Giovanni,

I saw that you were a member of QGIS-it-user group.

Perhaps you were autoadded at some point in time because perhaps you sent an email there before it was migrated.

Your user account says the primary email is your giohappy one, but is associated with your github account which has a different email.

Are you able to log in as G_Allegri? Unfortunately I don't think I can unwatch any lists you are watching, and when you were added to the QGIS-it user group you were probably set to automatically watch the associated category.

If you go here -

And click the bell icon, you should be able to unwatch.

Can you forward me the email you got. I thought all these had a unwatch on them. Mine do, but shows as small link at bottom of email.

Thanks,
Regina
