Thanks @jive. I have done some basic manual tests of the bundled and the war packages: import samples and templates, csw harvester, import vocabularies, users & groups management, metadata editor (iso19139), metadata workflow, metadata searches, load WMS resources in the map viewer and it looks fine.
Excellent, I also did the basic smoke tests described in the release process.
I will announce the the user forum and social media next.
