Dear Jeroen,
thanks for kindly accepting my request to be added as committer to the
BlueMetNet branch. My sourceforge username is "kurthectic".
I hereby promise to follow the guidelines stated at
http://trac.osgeo.org/geonetwork/wiki/committer, especially to pay
attention to copyright issues and
only to commit to the BlueMetNet branch.
I'm looking forward to helping to improve geonetwork. The software is
receiving a lot of attention in the meteorology community and we will
see some interesting portals being realised with geonetwork soon.
best regards
Timo

Hi Timo and Jeroen,
Yep - happy for that to happen Timo - thanks! I've been a bit busy on other things so after getting the basic remote search and html presentations going, I've been off the Z case for a little while, will return to that soon but its definitely a good idea for you to take up the SRU work!
Cheers and thanks,
Simon

With Simon's agreement I'm definitely willing to add you as a committer for that branch. You will have to do three more things for that:- Accept the committers guidelines from the geonetwork wiki by sending an email to the geonetwork developer list stating that. http://trac.osgeo.org/geonetwork/wiki/committer
- Promis you will only commit to that specific branch
- Provide me with your sourceforge account name (unix name)Cheers,

Dear Jeroen,
I'd like to request committer rights to the BlueMetNet branch of geonetwork.
The reason ist that I dont want to overload Simon with inevitable
patches, improvements and maintenance for the SRU.I often receive feedback of things that need improvement, fix them and
then have to forward the stuff to Simon. This duplicates work.
We at WMO want to make a committment to the SRU maintenance and I think
that this can be guaranteed best by being able to edit the SRU code
directly.best regards
Timo
