[GeoNetwork-devel] config-gui.xml

Hi all,

I’ve just deployed GeoNetwork onto a Unix server, and I find that the geoserver requests are still directed to localhost.

I assume I have to alter the values in config-gui to correct this. Unfortunately, this is inside the geoserver.war, which means either unzip, alter re-zip, or make a build specific to the target machine by editing before building.

Should this be part of the install process? Should this be considered a bug/enhancement?

Justin.

Maybe we should also move the data and lucene directory also ?

An option could be to define system properties to set lucene, data and
config directories and if not set, use the default one in WEB-INF ?
If doing so, could we use webapp specific name in order to be able to
have more than one node ? something like geonetwork.lucene.dir,
geonetwork1.lucene.dir
