i downloaded the source code of geonetwork v. 2.8.x and implemented it in
eclipse. now i would like to extend the csw dropdown list for possible
requests in Administration --> CSW Server configuration --> CSW ISO Profile

i tried to find a file in the folder structure of geonetwork, but didn't
find anything. has someone an idea how to customize this dropdown list to
extend some more requests with a predefined post xml.

Hi
Take a look to these files:
-
scripts/test-csw.js defines an array with the requests.
-
xml/csw/test folder contains xml files with the content of each request. Request id defined in test-csw.js and file names should match.
