Hello List, some of you have been using GEMET thesaurus in GeoNetwork.
Some rdf files are availables in some sandboxes like GéoSource or
geocat.ch.
in order to not to have too many flavours of the thesaurus and to be
able to regenerate them easily, I made some scripts to generate 3
thesaurus from EEA rdf repository :
* GEMET themes
* GEMET concepts
* INSPIRE themes.
Those scripts allows to create thesaurus to be used in GeoNetwork in
one or more languages.
Do you mind if I create a sandbox to keep those scripts and make RDF
files availables as I think we don't want to have them on trunk ?
An update on the documentation on how to install them could be done.
Ciao.
Francois
Hi Francois,
Indeed, extra utilities deserve a separate place in SVN. I created a top level utilities directory where you could add the scripts in a separate folder.
Cheers,
Jeroen

We could also move jsbuild mecanism and javascript librairies such as ExtJs, Openlayers and GeoExt.
What’s your opinion about that ?

Thanks Jeroen for the utilies folder.
Added GEMET thesaurus to be loaded in GeoNetwork for GEMET themes,
concepts and INSPIRE themes.
Thesaurus are available in multilingual format (ie. en, fr, de, es,
nl, ru, ar according to GeoNetwork GUI languages). INSPIRE themes is
in all EU languages.

jsbuild is needed if use to concatenate libs (OpenLayers, GeoExt) and
GeoNetwork JS (for the time being extentMap.js only). But we could use
also use it to merge other JS.
So we need it in trunk for development but it could be removed from
the installer.
Ciao.
