I have rolled out 3.0.1 via war
Running within tomcat 8.0
Printing still doesn’t work within tomcat 8
Does the latest 3.0.1 war file contain the fix for the printing issue within tomcat 8?
What do I need to do to get this working?

Yes, the last 3.0.1 version should contains the fix, it includes the last mapfishprint dependencies (2.1.1).
It have been tested successfully on some instances.
What error do you have ?

Hi,
I just rolled out the war in tomcat 7 and it seems to work ok. Printing takes awhile to produce the pdf so maybe I didn’t wait long enough previously.
I might try again in tomcat 8 and see if it was just slow.
I’ll let you know.

Ok so after testing the print functions in both tomcat 8 and tomcat 7.
In tomcat 8 print doesn’t function
In tomcat 7 print works but only if you choose thumbnail.
In tomcat 8 the templates do not populate.
I think I will stick with tomcat 7 for the moment.
