#280: Alignment, highlighted, etc issues - metadata edit
----------------------------------+-----------------------------------------
Reporter: osjonathan | Owner: geonetwork-devel@…
Type: defect | Status: new
Priority: minor | Milestone: v2.6.0 RC2
Component: User interface (web) | Version: v2.6.0RC1
Keywords: |
----------------------------------+-----------------------------------------
Few related minor issues clumped together here. This is on the
metadata.edit screen.
Screenshot shows the same metadata in (left to right): IE7, FF 3.6.6,
opera 10.60. All of these items can be seen in the screenshot.
Note I've not exhaustively compared all of the alignment stuff, only the
fields in my metadata template.
a) The input-boxes don't all line up neatly on the left-side. I realise
this is because some of the items are "indented" because they're sub-
items, but it looks off because it's only 1 or two pixels.
b) Firefox treats the "descriptive keywords" keyword section as not having
a fixed margin-left (see screenshot for comparison) where the rest of the
fields seem to.
c) The "Date" item doesn't have a red box despite being mandatory.
d) There are no red boxes at all in IE.
e) "Topic Category code" has a little red star (denote mandatory right?),
but the pop-up text doesn't say mandatory and there's no red-box.
