Hi List,
as discussed in the IRC meeting on last December, we have been implementing
changes in GN in order to be able to edit metadata conformant to INSPIRE SDS.
This is the related github issue:
https://github.com/geonetwork/core-geonetwork/issues/1445
Even if only a few files are involved in this implementation, I'd like a review
of the PR in order to make sure we are on the same line on the way this kind
of extension should be implemented. I mean, since this is something related to
INSPIRE, and all of the INSPIRE stuff implemented so far is inside the ISO19139
schema plugin, we also put the SDS stuff in there, even if it's quite verbose.
Here the PR:
https://github.com/geonetwork/core-geonetwork/pull/1468
There is still some stuff missing, namely:
- a metadata template already set up for all the required SDS fields
- schematron rules related to SDS validation
Cheers,
Emanuele

Hi List,
I merged the SDS PR into the 3.0.x branch a few days ago.
I created a brand new PR
https://github.com/geonetwork/core-geonetwork/pull/1499
with the commits squashed into a few main ones.
Thanks to fxprunayre for the review
The SDS implementation is complete, along with the schematron rules that were
not ready at the time of the first PR.
The SDS editor will be automatically enabled when the INSPIRE editor is
enabled.
Take this issue as a reference
https://github.com/geonetwork/core-geonetwork/issues/1445
about how the SDS editor should work.
Any feedback on this work is welcome.
Cheers,
Emanuele
