Hi Carlos,
Why are you using an external tool to migrate? Does the internal GeoNetwork migration not work? Or are you trying to migrate to something that is not GeoNetwork?

Hi María, thanks for your help.
I have 30.000 metada files in my geonetwork 2.1.0 that i need to migrate totally to my other version 2.10.4 , and also i need to migrate at the same time all my categories, groups and users.
First, I have to warn you agains moving to 2.10.4. That’s a very old unmaintained version of GeoNetwork. You should move to 3.4 as soon as possible to be safe. Since version 3 and 3.2 there has been several security audits that solved hacking issues that were not even “invented/discovered” when 2.10.4 was out. 2.10.4 was completely safe when it came out, but now you will be four years of unmaintained code behind the hackers.
I used GAST followin the manual of version 2.6.4 to import and export data, becouse i did’t find a manual for version 2.1.0
If there is another option or manual to export all data without GAST ¿could you explainme please?
GAST is a tool useful to import and export, but in GeoNetwork there is no need to import and export to move to a new version, just replace your war file with the new one and it will automatically upgrade the full app. Of course, you have to make sure the new war uses the same configuration (database and data folders) as the previous war file so the new GeoNetwork version can find the old data to use it.
In any case, I advice you to do a backup before the upgrade, just in case something weird prevents the data from upgrading. Usually this only happens on GeoNetworks with custom developments that change database schemas or data folder usage.
Regards,
María.
