I would like to put up a motion for vote that proposes that the documentation written for GeoNetwork opensource will be released under a less restrictive license than the one we use at present.

Could you please cast your votes or come back to the list with points for discussion?

Do we have a list of contributors to the documentation ? probably most of them are in the PSC, but maybe not and they should be aware of a license change ?

Hi Francois,
We don’t have a list of contributors as far as I know. The quick start guide that forms part of the User documentation was written mostly by Patrizia in collaboration with someone hired at the time by OCHA. I’ve been doing some editing work on that. The other documentation has indeed been written by those who are on the PSC or are active committers to the project. We can try to make a list of contributors in case we foresee problems there. Personally I don’t think there are such issues, but that’s just me.
Ciao,
Jeroen

If this makes contribs to the doco easier then it's good.
Cheers,
Simon
