Hi all,

This is a call for action, we have less than a month to certify our products for OGC.

Any volunteers to help?

GDAL, istSOS, MapServer, pycsw are already listed from last year, any new projects willing to join?

Best regards,
Angelos

Hi María

I’m afraid, it’s more a technical issue than if we want the certification or not. For now CSW 3 is not supported, so we can skip that. For CSW 2.0.2 not all tests pass and some of them are not that simple to solve, due to the way that spatial filters implementation work in GeoNetwork (are applied as AND always after the “text” filters), so any spatial filter using OR (there’re some tests like this in the OGC test suite) will not work and as said, not something simple to change.

For sure, would be good to be as much as compliant as possible, but with current implementation we can’t get to that point. Also this kind of stuff requires quite effort, so unless any project supporting it, it’s difficult.

Regards,
Jose García
