[GeoNetwork-devel] Remoting Geonetwork

I have a problem here…

I want to public my geonetwork so I can get a remoting access from Internet, but I have no clue what to do? I already conf de file server.xml as the post-installation said… we just can’t access to my server from other computer Intranet/Internet… we are using tomcat 5.5.2 and oracle as our DB…

I’ve already conf all geonetwork, Language, Colors, Banners etc… All I want is that someone else can access to my GeoNetwork Server and upload and download metadata…

some can help me…

Hi Khrizart,

Did you do all these checks, and where did it fail?
- Locally you can connect to Tomcat on port 8080? Using the IP address and the name?
- Locally you can connect to the GeoNetwork instance?
- Remotely you can connect to the Tomcat on port 8080?
if not, is there a firewall that prevents you to connect to a port 8080?
- Remotely you can connect to the GeoNetwork instance?

Ciao,
Jeroen
