[GeoNetwork-devel] Roadmap planning and communication

Hello everyone,

I am catching up with some of the geonetwork ideas ahead of sprint for next week.

I wanted to ask about the level of detail for the GeoNetwork roadmap? There are several challenges listed (spring-framework-6, Angular, Saxxon, DCAT) that are also being explored the sprint under the banner GeoNetwork 5.

···

Is it better to:

a) Create a GeoNetwork 5 “milestone” for these topics on the roadmap? This maintains visibility but does place RnD topics on the board that do not have a proposal yet.

b) Create a new board for such 'proof of concept" work? This would remove the “No Milestone” items, until such time as they have a viable proposal.

Experimentation shows that items can be shared between boards … but only once they have been turned into issues.

Hi Jody, maybe a) is easier to maintain and add visibility on the “proof of concept” work.

Thanks Francois, I will look at that tomorrow.
