Dear GN list/ANZLIC list,
We have a lot of datasets here that describe average weather or climate or ocean conditions in particular month
(e.g December) or a season e.g summer. However we are not sure how you encode
this in the temporal sense. We can't use a simple begin date/end date as only format
allowed are yyyy, yyyy-mm or yyyy-mm-dd
Anybody else out there written metadata for climatology datasets? which XML elements did you use
(By the way we are using ISO19139 as base standard for our metadata)
