Hi,
I have detected an issue in GN 3.0.x, with one of the context background layers, Bing Maps ‘aerial’.
As far as I see, the trouble is the API key. Maybe it would be possible to get a key that does not expire, or if it is too annoying to deal with keys, just replace this layer by something else (like Stamen)? What do people think about this?

We updated the key with Florent
https://github.com/geonetwork/core-geonetwork/commit/dc7567376b229b8c2bf9986c816e564bc6ad959b
and it should be working. But this key is registered for
geonetwork-opensource and we should not reach the limit of free usage.
Users are recommended to use their own key when installing the app.

Thanks a lot for your answer 
I was checking 3.0x., rather than the develop branch and did not get this key change.
I guess a nice-to-have feature would be to enable the key configuration on the settings panel, because right now, as far as I see that has to be done in the JavaScript code.
