[GeoNetwork-users] Problem Installing GN 2.10.3-0 on Windows 8.0

I've followed all the guides and checked the forum but nothing helps me solve
the error message when I try to launch GN. "Webpage is not available". I've
installed in the Windows Programme file structure and outside it (as
recommended by one post). I've changed all the accounts to admin with an
admin password and disabled the firewall. The start and stop geonetwork
shortcuts briefly show DOS windows and the start-stdl.html loads but ends up
with the error message every time.

I've noticed that there are some mentions of Port 8079 as well as Port 8080
in the batch files. Should it be this way?

Can anyone help solve the problems?

Hi everybody,

I'm feeding an Openlayers viewer with Geonetwork using xml.search service and I would like to improve the data flow through a direct access to the Postgres Geonetwork database.

  * Is there any documentation with the inner Geonetwork tables structure?
  * It's possible a query to the database with a GeoJSON shaped answer?

Thanks a lot,

Miguel
