We have made sure that you can now start testing the upcoming release using a nightly build. We're working on making that version stable now and ready for release as version 2.8. So please check it out ( Download GeoNetwork — GeoNetwork opensource ) and provide us with feedback by creating tickets in Trac at GeoNetwork opensource Developer website
Kind regards,
Jeroen

I checked the project roadmap, but there is not release date for Geonetwork
2.7.
Does anyone know when this is likely to finalized?
Up to now, I've seen that the catalan interface has to be updated. I'm
interested in doing that. Please, let me now if I can send to you the
'loc\cat' branch via e-mail when ready.
Hi Montse,
Best is that you update the files and if possible you generate a patch. You can submit those in Trac. Otherwise you can also provide the updated files to us directly, but there is more work to be done on our side for integration.
Ciao,
Jeroen

I have the next files translated for catalan:
apps\js\GeoNetwork\lib\GeoNetwork\lang\*ca.js*
loc\cat\xml\*strings.xml*
I want to upload those files. I went to "http://trac.osgeo.org/geonetwork"
but I don't find the 'upload area'. Can you give me detailed instructions
for uploading, please?
About the testing of the nighty builds:
Up to know I only found that not all tables are erased at the beginning of
the *data-db-default.sql* script.
I would like to test in deep, but I didn't achieve to execute the code under
Eclipse. The nigthy builds run OK when deployed in Tomcat. However, running
under Eclipse, even though the application starts ok, entering into the
aplication throws this error: *TransformerConfigurationException : Failed
to compile stylesheet. 66 errors detected*.
The strange thing is that this same code opens the main page without
compilation errors when executing directly in Tomcat. How can I solve that?
I would like to be able to debug the code under Eclipse.
Thanks for your help and best regards.
Montse
