[GeoNetwork-users] Release of the Datahub

Hi dear GeoNetwork community.

You may have hear about the geonetwork-ui
<https://github.com/geonetwork/geonetwork-ui/> project that we dreamt about
during the GeoNetwork meeting in 2020. The project has grown, you can find
the video presentation <https://youtu.be/tTzfHlX9KYg?t=782> from the last
FOSS4G. The goal of this project is to provide new UIs which aim to address
modern use cases about metadata and dataset ecosystem. We focus a lot on
the user experience and we provide modular tools and components to easily
create new applications for GeoNetwork 4 API.

We are proud to release the Datahub, which materialize the vision we had a
couple of years ago.
The datahub is a modern application, a facade to GN4 backend, which is
inspired by opendata catalogs and modern usecases. It's dataset centric and
offers first dataviz components.
The application is in production for Geo2France at
Datahub and is already very appreciated.

The goal of the datahub is to unify Opendata and INSPIRE worlds into a
common portal.
Thanks to GN4 json harvester, we are now able to harvest opendata catalogs
such as Opendatasoft, CKAN, ESRI, and DKAN, on top of already existing
ones. Any kind of dataset co-exist within the same UI. The Datahub can be
used only for ISO catalogs as well.

The Datahub has greater ambition to make this application a social platform
about datasets publication, some ideas such as subscribe to favorite,
notifications, publisher section, more complex dataviz, news, commentaries
and so on should come in next versions. Feel free to contact the team for
more information, and of course, all interests and contributions are
welcome to make the Datahub a better product.
