Dear all,
when you install GeoNetwork remember to change the Bing key value to your
own value (see https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff428642.aspx). The
default GeoNetwork key is now blocked due to too many requests, so this
explains why you may have blank maps now.

Hi Kevin
The bing key is set in the admin console \ settings \ map \ bing map key.
To be clear which maps were blank? I am finding that the osm tiles are not
appearing in the metadata record map (region.getmap.png) but unsure if this
is related. Could someone confirm?
I have set the bing key but it didn't seem to change anything even after a
restart.

Hi,
To be clear which maps were blank?
In the viewer main map, if you choose Bing as background, it is white cause
the tiles are not loaded cause of depecrated key.
