GeoServer 3 GeoFence

Hi,

as the announced GeoServer 3 release date comes closer I wanted to give the nightly build a try, but for the last two days there wasn’t a download package of the internal GeoFence server plugin available.

Now I’m wondering if GeoFence will be part of the initial GeoServer 3 release?

After doing some more research I can answer the question myself: According to the plan, GeoFence should be part of Milestone 4: Integration which is planned for GeoServer 3.0.1, to be released in June 2026.
