I understand from the README that GeoServer Cloud supports a curated selection of GeoServer extensions. Is there any information on how that selection is made, or a roadmap for which extensions are planned beyond the GitHub milestones?
OIDC is one example I’m interested in. The OIDC extension is available in standard GeoServer, and integrating it in Cloud is tracked in this issue, currently on the 3.1.0 milestone:
Does anyone know if it’s actively being worked on, and whether 3.1.0 is a realistic target?
I’m considering Cloud, so I’d like to understand the risks before committing. Is there a chance that OIDC won’t make it after all, or that much of the new functionality added to standard GeoServer in future versions won’t find its way to Cloud?
