Great work justin, 1.4.0-M1 is doing very well as I updated the uDig walkthrough on editing. Nice work 
We need to do a test with Jesse's WFS fixes (in order to cut down on the number of times the user needs to hit refresh), right now I am using an older version of uDig and do not have Jesse's fixes available.
