we discussed about it, and decided we should just point people to the zip file
generated by Github instead… which is not yet available, because the deploy
job still have not run.

I think this would be OK. It would be better not to release the -src.zip if it
doesn't build though.

Looking at that we have a bad regex … based on unzipping the files directly resulting in the path /Users/jody/Downloads/geoserver-2.6.0-mac/target/geoserver-2.6.0 parsing out a gs.version of “2.6.0-mac/geoserver-2.6.0”.
Going for a simple rename of the directory and I can produce a DMG.
