[Geoserver-devel] 2.6.0 release train?

So where are we at?

  • GeoTools release? Release is deployed to maven which is enough for 2.6.0 release
  • Waiting on DMG - I built that yesterday.
  • Build script source page failure? Web site points to GitHub, but build script is still trying GEOS-6695. Is this blocking? I am not sure it has been brought to Justin’s attention
  • Jira release? Looks like release notes for 2.6.0 are made.
  • GWC? Kevin deployed to maven for us - thanks Kevin
  • Release Announcement? Email has some notes/links but this is where work is required. Made a blog post that we can link to in the “About 2.6.0 Release” section.

Is there anything else? We are now several weeks late …

A bit of progress:

* noticed Ian published to source forge a couple days ago
* draft blog post avaialble

I've made some updates to the GeoServer one, I don't see a GeoTools one
though?

* website updated, stable changed to 2.6.x, maintenance changed to
2.5.x
* docs.geoserver.org needs to be updated in a similar fashion
* http://docs.geoserver.org/stable/en/user/ need to change to 2.6.x

It seems to me we are ready to go on the GeoServer side, the two above could
also be done after the official announcement imho. What do you think?

Cheers
Andrea

It was trouble enough updating the website, I hope someone else can grab the GeoTools anouncement.

I think so as well - there will be some broken links for a bit on the website.

Thanks for your help Andrea.
