Hi Simone,

Thanks a lot to all for yesterday’s meeting.

I just wanted to clarify a few points with you. These are the main ideas I noted down:

  1. Build a plugin that acts as a client for GADS.
  2. Put it in GeoServer and we serve coverages from it
  3. Once someone asks for a coverage that is in GADS, the plugin will just send a request to GADS.

I have drawn two diagrams. First one is showing what I’m currently working on. This is to get familiar with GeoServer. It is also a simple demo showing how GADS requests get serviced. Please note that I am not using GeoTools at all.

Now based on yesterday’s meeting, I have drawn diagram 2. Is this the general idea Simone ?
