If you are in position to write a blog post for the GeoServer blog we always like to see successful projects. I am curious about the chalanges you ran into bridging the gap between GeoServer and OLAP?
You may wish to look at setting up a community module (even if all it does is have a pom.xml that pulls in your jars). This would also give you a chance to use a modern version of GeoTools. One thing to look forward to is ContentDataStore (I am asking teams to migrate from AbstractDataStore which you extend for MDXCachedDataStore).
